Bożena Sławiak – (born on 28th May 1948 in Sulęcin, Poland) – is a Polish politician, official of a local government, a teacher and since 2007 a Member of the Parliament (VI and VII term).

Political Career[edit]

After 1990 she sat on the city council and was the council president of the municipality Sulęcin, then sat on the board of county Sulęcin. From 1998 to 2002, she was the first governor of the district. In 2006 she was elected as a councillor to the regional council of the Lubuskie region. In 2007 she was elected to the Parliament from the Civic Platform (Platforma Obywatelska) list. She we reelected in 2011.

Education[edit]

In 1968 she obtained a master's degree in cultural and educational pedagogy at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań. Until 1998, she worked in a Cultural Center in Sulęcin and in the library.
