Borys Budka

Borys Budka born on 11th March 1978 in Czeladź, Poland, He is a Polish politician and a member of Parliament of the VII legislature.

Political Career

In 2002 he became a member of Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform). In 2006, he was a candidate of the local committee and in 2010 again as the PO he became a councillor for Zabrze. From 2002 to 2005 he was deputy chairman of the city council, followed by a year serving as its chairman. In the parliamentary elections in 2011, he obtained a parliamentary seat as a candidate from the list of PO in Gliwice.

Education

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia. He had legal training and in 2007 he began an apprenticeship as a solicitor. In 2011 at the University of Economics in Katowice based on his dissertation of Qualifying Employee he earned his Ph.D. in economics with a specialization in employment policy. Since graduation he has been working as a lecturer at the Department of Law at the Faculty of Finance and Insurance School of Economics and the transformation of the University of Economics in Katowice.
