Boyka Metodiev Borisov is a Bulgarian politician and former Prime Minister of the current National Assembly. He was born on 13 June 1959 in Bankya and is the founder of the PP GERB. Before Borisov founded PP GERB, he held a number of different positions at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bulgaria between 1982-1990. After his resignation from the ministry, he established some private enterprises and later took an active role in politics.
