Claudio Fava (April 15, 1967) is an Italian screenwriter, writer, journalist and politician.

Education

He obtained a university degree and license to practice Law.

Political career

He was first elected in the Italian Chamber of Deputies in 1992 for “Movimento per la democrazia: la rete”, serving in the Foreign and Comunitarian Affairs Commission and was part of the Italian parliamentary delegation to the Council of Europe and UEO.

He was reelected to the Italian Parliament in 2013 for “Sinistra, Ecologia e Libertà” party, working for the Justice Commission, Foreign Affairs and Comunitarian Commission, Mafia and other Criminal Associations Parliamentary Enquiry Commission, Communication and External Information Committee and Republic Security Parliamentary Committee

Further informations

His father, Giuseppe Fava, was killed by the mafia in 1984; then, Claudio Fava took the place of editor-in-chief in his father's newspaper “I Siciliani”.
