Czesław Mroczek – (born on 20th July 1964 in Kałuszyn, Poland) – is a Polish politician, lawyer, official of the local government, Member of Parliament (V, VI and VII of the term) and from 2011 the Secretary of State in the Ministry of National Defence.

Political Career[edit]

From 1998 to 2005 he was a councillor and a governor of the district of Mińsk Mazowiecki. He was a member of the Polish Christian Democrat Agreement (Porozumienie Polskich Chrześcijańskich Demokratów). In 2001 he ran for Parliament from the list AWSP. In 2005 he was elected to the Parliament from the list of the Civic Platform (Platforma Obywatelska). In the parliamentary elections in 2007 he was reelected and got the second highest score in the district after Elizabeth Jakubiak. In August 2011 he was appointed as a Secretary of State in the Ministry of National Defence. In the parliamentary elections in 2011 he obtained a parliamentary seat for the third time, again getting the second highest score in a district after Marek Sawicki.

Education[edit]

In 1990 he graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, and in 1997 from the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw.
