Elena Kountoura
Elena Kountoura was born in Athens. She is a Greek politician and former model.
Political Career[edit]
In 2004, she was elected MP for the district of Athens with New Democracy. She also served as a member of the Central Committee of the New Democracy. She served as Deputy Head of the Culture Sector of New Democracy. She served as Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group, Greece-Korea.
Education Career[edit]
She studied Physical Education and Sports Science at the University of Athens. She speaks French, English and Spanish.
Notable Work[edit]
Mrs. Kountoura takes part in philanthropic activity in Greece and abroad. She participates in numerous Non-Governmental-Organizations such as UNICEF, “ΚΙΒΩΤΟΣ”, “Παναθηναϊκή” Women’s Association and the Pan-Hellenic Association of Volunteers against cancer. She contributes to several missions, celebrations and events, organized by these NGO’s and which serve the protection of human rights, as well as other social subjects.
