Fabrizio Bocchino has served the Italian Parliament as Senator representing the region Sicily since 2013.

Fabrizio Bocchino was born in Erice, Sicily, on November 26th 1968.

Political Career

He was appointed as Senator for the first time after the February 2013 elections. As a Senator, he is also a member of the 7th Permanent Commission on Public Education and Cultural Heritage.

Education

Fabrizio Bocchino obtained a degree in Physics from University of Palermo in 1993 and a PhD in Physics from the same university in 1997. He then worked as a researcher at the National Institute for Astrophysics in Palermo.
