Carmen Menéndez was born in Ferrol (A Coruña), in July 6th of 1959,Currently she is Senator for The Community of Madrid and Member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party.
Political Career[edit]
Official of the Public State Employment Service of the Ministry of Labour ( Senior Scale Autonomous Bodies ) . Unionist General Union of Workers ( UGT) since 1983, has been a member of the UGT Confederal Committee , Confederal responsible for Social Services and Secretary of Trade Union UGT Madrid. Currently is the Secretary of the PSM- PSOE and member of the Socialist Workers' Party in the Assembly of Madrid. It is Senator Madrid , Deputy Secretary General of the Socialist Group in the Senate , and second vice-president in Socialist Workers' Party Committee on Foreign Affairs and member of the Committee on Employment and Social Security.
