Giancarlo Serafini was born March 2nd 1941 in Rivoli (Torino), Italy; he works as a union organizer. He was appointed during the XVI and XVII Senate Legislature.

Political career

Giancarlo Serafini is a member of the “Il Popolo della Libertà” party, that successively changed its name to “Forza Italia- Il Popolo della Libertà XVII Legislature”. Additionally, he is a member of the Sixth Permanent Commission for Finance and Treasure, as well as a member of the Eleventh Permanent Commission for Labor and Public Welfare and Vice-president of the Inquiry Committee on work related injuries.
