The Indo-German Health Roundtable, organized by the German Embassy, gathered Panelists from diverse backgrounds. It represented thus a truly multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural discussion on existing challenges in the healthcare sector.

The Ambassador of Germany at New Delhi, H. E. Martin Nay, hosted, on 12th of August, the Indo-German Health Roundtable. The event, which has been organized in the lead-up to the German Chancellor’s ‘’International German Forum 2017’’ on Health and Innovation, gathered panelists from various backgrounds, be it from government, civil society, practitioners and companies, making the event a truly multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural affair.

The discussion focused on debating the existing challenges in the healthcare sector, thereby giving valuable inputs for the International German Forum in Berlin at the beginning of 2017. In regards the German Forum, it represents a new format for international exchange on globally relevant issues which pose future challenges.

The Indo-German Health Roundtable represents thus an important step taken ahead of the International German Forum, whose main goal is for participants to learn from one another through interdisciplinary and intercultural dialogue and to establish a network for global learning over the long term.
