Jerzy Ziętek
Jerzy Ziętek – (born on 1st December 1956 in Katowice, Poland) is a Polish politician, medical doctor, local government official and a Member of Parliament (VI and VII term).
Political Career[edit]
In 2006 representing the Civic Platform (Platforma Obywatelska) he was selected as a member of the regional council of Silesia. In the parliamentary elections in 2007 he won a parliamentary seat from the list of the Civic Platform. In the 2011 elections he successfully applied for re-election. In 2014 he left the Civic Platform.
Education[edit]
He graduated in 1981 from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, in 1988 he received the degree of Doctor of Medicine. Since 1981 he has practised as an obstetrician-gynecologist.
