Manuel Ibáñez Gimeno

Manuel Ibáñez Gimeno, born 1 January 1955, is a member of the Spanish Chamber of Deputies representing the Spanish province of Castellón, Comunidad Valenciana. Ibáñez Gimeno is a member of the People’s Party, Partido Popular (PP) and he is a member of the People’s Party Parliamentary Group, Grupo Popular (GP) within the Chamber of Deputies.

Political Career

Manuel Ibáñez Gimeno has been an MP for the Partido Popular from Tarragona for one term, since 2011. He previously was a candidate in the municipal election of 1995 in the town of Onda, Castellón. Nowadays in the Chamber of Deputies, Ibáñez Gimeno is a member of the Commission of Health and Human Services, of the Commission for the Study of Climate Change, and of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Parliamentary Control of the Corporation of the Spanish Radio-Television, Radio Televisión Española (RTVE), and its subsidiaries.

Education

Ibáñez Gimeno has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Zaragoza. Additionally, he is a medical inspector.
