Markku Eestilä is born on the 23rd of July in 1956 in Iisalmi. He is a member of the finnish parliament since 2011 representing the National Coalition Party. He is a veterinary by profession.

Political Career

Markku Eestilä has been an Iisalmen city councilor since 1996. He was the Chairman of the Council in 2001-2009, Vice-President and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2009-2013. He was the Chairman of the Northern Savo Hospital District in 2009-2013. He was elected a member of parliament for the National Coalition Party in 2011.

Education

He attended the College of Veterinary Medicine in Helsinki where he obtained a Licentiate in Veterinary Medicine.
