Martina Banić was born on 1 May 1980 in Zagreb, Croatia. She is a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski Sabor) and a member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ; Croatian: Hrvatska Demokratska Zajednica).

Banić's parliamentary mandate began in December 2011 and her parliamentary funcions consist of being a member of the Committee on the Family, Youth and Sports, Education, Science and Culture Committee, the Elections, Appointments and Administration Committee, and the Gender Equality Committee.
