María Ascensión Carreño Fernández, spanish national deputy for the Peple's Party

María Ascensión Carreño Fernández, born the 2nd July of 1970, is a Spanish politician and a national deputy.

Political Career[edit]

She was elected as a national deputy for the first time in the 7th term and then in the 8th (2003-2011). She was member of differents committees of the Parliament and assistant spokeswoman for the PP's Group. Before her political career on the national scale, she was also Deputy Mayor, spokeswoman and councillor in the municipal level.

Education[edit]

María Ascensión Carreño Fernández holds a degree on civil engineering for the University of Alicante. She studied also technical architecture and she holds a MA on enviroment and enewable energies. She also studied piano.
