Monika Gibalová

Monika Gibalová is a Slovak Politician and member of the Slovak National Council. She was born on the 1st. of May, 1960 in Spišská Sobota. Gibalová is a member of the political party KDH in Svit, where she currently lives.

Political career[edit]

Monika Gibalová was elected into the National Council of the Slovak Republic for the political party KDH. She also became the Vice-President of the Parliamentary Committee on Conflicts of Interest and a member of the Parliamentary Committee for Social Affairs and Housing. In 2010 she was again elected as a member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. Momentarily, she is a member of the political party KDH, member of the Committee on Incompatibility of Functions and verifier of the Committee on Social Affairs.

Education[edit]

In 1997 Gibalová completed a master's degree at the Roman Catholic Faculty of Theology in the Comenius University in Bratislava. From 1997 until 2000 she was studying at the Faculty of Health and Social Work of the University of Trnava and gained her PhD. In 1999 she passed the rigorous test in the scientific field of social work and in 2000 she completed the dissertation examination and thesis defense in the scientific field of social work.
