Nitto Francesco Palma (born in Rome on March 3rd 1950) is an Italian politician. He is a member of the Forza Italia political party.

Political Career[edit]

He was a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 2001 until 2006. From July 2011 until December 2011 he was Minister of Justice. He was appointed as Senator for the first time in 2006, for the second time in 2008 and for the third time in 2013. As a Senator, he is also the President of the 2nd Permanent Commission on Justice.

Education[edit]

He holds a degree in Law and has worked as a magistrate.
