Paul van Meenen

Paul van Meenen was born on the 29th of January 1956 in The Hague (Den Haag). He is a politician in the Dutch House of Representatives for the Democrats 66 Party (D66).

Political career[edit]

Before his political career, van Meenen worked as a math teacher in various different schools. Between 1996 and 2002 he was the headmaster of the Veurs college in Leidschendam-Voorburg. Between 2002 and 2012 he was the chairman of the executive board for a group of different schools in Leidschendam-Voorburg and the Hague.

Education[edit]

Van Meenen gained his doctorate in Mathematics in 1980 at the University of Leiden.
