Prodromos Prodromou was born in Tubingen ,Germany in 1958. He is a Greek/Cypriot politician and economist.
Political Career[edit]
Prodromos Prodromou is a representative of Nicosia constituency under the banner of DISY 1996 - 2004, under the banner of European Democracy 2004 - 2006 and under the banner of DISY since March 2013. He served as Spokesman of DISY for the period 1997 - 1999,Head of the Economic Policy and Development Strategy Secretariat of DISY for the period 2001 - 2004, and DISY Commissioner for Educational Affairs for the period 2001 - 2004. He was Founding member and President of the party “European Democracyˮ from 2004 to 2008. Currently he holds the position of Spokesman of DISY since September 2013.

Prodromos Prodromou graduated in Economics (Université de Paris Ouest Nanterre La Defense), Social Studies and Political Science (Université de Paris-X-Nanterre) and he continued his postgraduate studies and research on Economics and on International Economics and Finance (Université de Paris-X-Nanterre), on Social Studies (Université de Paris-X-Nanterre και École des Hautes en Sciences Sociales) and on Political Science (Université de Paris-X-Nanterre).He speaks French and English.
