The communal elections farce

Communal elections are held under intense criticism of their democratic nature. GDR dissidents strive to uncover fraud in an election that produces 98,85 support for the SED. Eventually, independent observers uncover fraud. The discovery undermines the SED and adds significant energy to the civil rights movement.
