A Kiss Amid The Chaos[edit]
When this unlikely snapshot of lovers entangled in a tear-gas filled street with riot police in the fore and background emerged, it started a national campaign against violence. The "Vancouver riot kissing couple" — Coquitlam-raised Alexandra Thomas and her Australian boyfriend Scott Jones showed that there is always place for love no matter of circumstances.
