Benedetto Della Vedova

Benedetto Della Vedova was born 3. April 1962 in Sondrio, Italy, he lives in Milan and works as an economist researcher. He took part to the XV and XVI Chamber Legislature and, recently, the XVII Senate Legislature. He is furthermore member of the “Scelta Civica per l’Italia” party.

Political career[edit]

Since the beginning of the Renzi government, Benedetto Della Vedova has been appointed State Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs in February 2014 and, later on, Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Additionally, Benedetto Della Vedova was member of the Committee for Regulations from March to September 2013, and he is currently Secretary of the Committee for Elections and Parliamentary Immunity. He was also member of the First Permanent Commission for Constitutional Affairs from May to December 2013, member of the Eight Permanent Commission for Public Works and Communications (substituted in March 2014 by G. Susta) and member of the Tenth Permanent Commission for Industry, Trade and Tourism (substituted in March 2014 by P. Ichino).Finally, he joined the Parliamentary Commission for Prosecution Procedures in July 2013.
