Dionisio García Carnero

Dionisio García Carnero, born in 1954 in Friera de Valverde in the Spanish province of Zamora, is a Spanish senator representing Zamora in the 10th Congress of Deputies. García Carnero is a member of the Spanish People’s Party, Partido Popular (PP).

Political Career[edit]

From 1987 to 1993 Dionisio García Carnero was a member of Zamora City Council. He also held the position of Vice-President of the Council of Zamora. He was also the President of the provincial People’s Party in Zamora from 1996 to 2004. Nowadays, he is the spokesman for the Latin American Affairs Committee and is also a member of the Senate Permanent Delegation within the Spanish Senate. Additionally, he is a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on International Development Cooperation. Furthermore, he is the sponsor of the Foundation for Development Cooperation, Humanism and Democracy.

Education[edit]

Dionisio García Carnero has a degree in Teaching.
