Francesco Campanella

Francesco Campanella is a memebr of the Italian Senate. He was born on November 29th 1964 in Palermo, Italy. He is currently Employee of the Public Sector for the region Sicily and member of the Mixed Group (“Gruppo Misto” – “Italia Lavori in Corso”).

Political career[edit]

Francesco Campanella was appointed as Senator for the first time after the February 2013 elections. He started as member of the “Movimento 5 Stelle” party, that he joined on 19th March 2013. On 27th February 2014 he adhered to the Mixed Group (“Gruppo Misto”) party, developing into the “Italia Lavori in Corso” party on 15th May 2014. He joined the First Permanent Commission for Constitutional Affairs on 7th Mai 2013 and, successively, the Special Commission for Urgent Governmental Acts, where he was involved until 7th Mai 2013. On 19th July 2013 he joined the Parliamentary Commission for Procedural Simplification, where he was appointed Secretary on 15th October 2013.
