Juan Manuel Juncal Rodríguez was born on 2nd June 1958 in Ferrol, Spain. He is a Spanish politician, member of the Senate and member of Popular Party (PP).

Political Career[edit]

Juan Manuel Juncal Rodríguez was elected to the Senate for the province of A Coruña in the regional elections of 1997. Later, he became Mayor of Ferrol from 2003 until 2007, as well as holding the position of President of the Popular Party in the province of A Coruña. In the 2008 elections he became senator and was elected with the highest number of votes in the province of A Coruña, with the same result in 2011. He is a member of the Standing Committee and President of the political party PP in Ferrol. He has been a member of the Galician Parliament since 1997. He is the current mayor in Ferrol.

Education[edit]

He holds a degree in Economical Sciences and works as an auditor.
