Juan María Cornejo López

Juan María Cornejo López is a Spanish politician and member of the Spanish Socialist Worker’s Party (PSOE). He was born in Medina-Sidonia (Cádiz) on November 5th, 1955.

Political Career[edit]

Juan María Cornejo López is currently serving as a Senator at the Senate of Spain, the upper house of Spain’s parliament, after being elected in the last general election that took place in 2011. He is currently in his second term as a Senator, having held that position since the IX Term. From 1987 to 1995 he served as Medina Sidonia city mayor. From 1987-1991 he was elected deputy at the Cadiz council. Between 2004 and 2008 he was deputy at the Parliament of Andalucia. He has also performed several roles within the PSOE.
