Biography[edit]

Professor Kenan Gürsoy is Ambassador of Turkey to the Holy See and Chairman of the Department of Philosophy. He graduated from the Department of Law at Ankara University, and he gained a four-year scholarship to the University of Rennes in France and in Paris, at the Sorbonne. He became an assistant at the Department of Arts and Philosophy at the Atatürk University. In 1999, he became Director of the University Institute of Social Sciences. Prof. Kenan Gürsoy has been involved in subjects such as Turkish Sufism, Existentialism Philosophy, Phenomenology, Ethics and Comparative Religious Ethics.
