Luciano Uras

Luciano Uras was born 6. October 1954 in Iglesias (Carbonia-Iglesias), Italy. He is a member of the Italian Senate. He is currently living in Cagliari. He is currently fulfilling his role as Councilman of the Sardinia Region; he was elected on 24. February 2013, proclaimed on 4. March 2013 and validated on 2. July 2013. Additionally, he is Treasurer of the Mixed Group (“Gruppo Misto”), more specifically of the “Sinistra Ecologia e Libertà” party.

Political Career[edit]

Luciano Uras joined the “Gruppo Misto” on 19. March 2013 as regular member, to be appointed Treasurer on 10. April 2013. He later became member of the Fifth Permanent Commission for Governmental Balance on 7. Mai 2013, Secretary of the Sixth Permanent Commission for Finance and Treasury from 7. To 28. Mai 2013. In the meantime, he joined the Fourteenth Permanent Commission for European Policies, where he was appointed Secretary on 21. Mai 2013. He was also part of the Special Commission for Urgent Governmental Acts from 26. March to 7. Mai 2013, as well as member of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee on Intimidation towards Local Administrators from 20. March 2014 onwards. Finally, he joined the Italian Parliamentary Delegation at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly on 4. July 2013.
