Mariusz BÅ‚aszczak
Mariusz Błaszczak was born in September 19th, 1969 in Legionowo. He is a polish historian, politician and a local government representative. Currently he is the chairperson of the parliamentary club of the biggest opposition party (PiS).
Political career[edit]
Błaszczak started his political career as the Deputy Mayor of the Wola District of Warsaw in 2002 – 2004. In 2004, he was chosen as Mayor of the Śródmieście District. On October 31st 2005,he was nominated as a chef of Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland. He was also a member of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland in Jarosław Kaczyński’s cabinet. He is regarded as the right-hand of the chief of the opposition party – Jarosław Kaczyński – and currently the chairperson of the parliamentary club of the biggest opposition party (PiS).
Education[edit]
Błaszczak obtained a Master Degree in history at Warsaw University in 1994 and completed his studies at the National School of Public Administration in 2001. He also completed his postgraduate studies in Local Government and Development (1997) as well as Management and Administration (2006).
