Member of the Spanish Senate

Marta Domínguez Azpeleta was born in Palencia, November 3 1975. She's member of the Spanish senate within the People's party.

Political Career[edit]

In 2003, she was part of the lists of the City Council of Palencia as an independent party. After the election, she was councilor for the legislature dedicated sports area. In November 2011, she won a seat in the Senate, getting elected in his capacity as first on the list of People's party candidacy of Palencia in Spain's general election.

Education[edit]

She has studied the Diploma in Science Education (Physical Education Teacher).

Special Achievements[edit]

She is a Spanish athlete, world champion in the 3,000 meters hurdles. In 14 years old she has won the Regional Championship Cross and shortly later the third place in the Spanish Championship Cross, and finally in 1992 she was Spain Champion 3000-meter dash with 9'47.
