Raquel Miriam Andrés Prieto

Raquel Miriam Andrés, born in Palencia on the 13th April 1976, is a Spanish senator for the Autonomous Community of Castille y León for the 10th term. She is a member of the Socialist Worker’s Party.

Political Career[edit]

Raquel Miriam Andrés Prieto was elected as senator for the first time in the 9th term. During the current term, she is acting as member of the standing committee of the Senate. She is a spokesperson for different commissions such as the Social Services Commission and the Health Commission. Before being a senator she was also a councillor in the Municipality of Palencia (1999-2007) and its Provincial Council (2004-2007). Inside the Socialist Party (PSOE), she is the secretary of organisation in the Executive Commission of Palencia’s PSOE.

Raquel Miriam Andrés Prieto holds a degree in Law.
