Remigio Ceroni

Remigio Ceroni has served the Italian Parliament as Senator for the region Marche since 2013. He was born in Monterubbiano, Marche, on April 21st 1955.

Political Career[edit]

A Member of the Democrazia Cristiana party since 1972, he was elected city councillor in Rapagnano in 1985 and then appointed commissioner in 1988. In 1990 Ceroni became mayor of Rapagnano, reconfirmed in 1995, 1999, 2006 and, finally, in 2011 he was re-elected for the fifth time.

In 2013 Remigio Ceroni was elected Senator of the XVII Legislature of the Italian Republic in the constituency of Marche for Forza Italia-Popolo della Libertà political group. As a Senator, he is a member of the 5th Permanent Commission on Budgetary Policies, as well as member of the Parliamentary Commission on Regional Affairs.
