In 1980, she became a member of "Solidarity.” Later on she cooperated with the Committee of Citizens. In the first half of the 80s she joined the Kashubian-Pomeranian Association. She was involved in the reactivation of Gdynia branch associations. In 2010, she was a candidate for the post of President of the Kashubian-Pomeranian Association, losing to Lukasz Grzędzickim. She held various positions in the management bodies of the organization. She also became the Vice President for the 2011-2013 term.  She was involved in the promotion of the Kashubian folklore as well as initiated the establishment of the Cultural Centre of the Kashubian-Pomeranian and the issuance of local publications and activities for the promotion of Kashubian.
