Andrzej Szlachta born 19 January 1947 in Rzeszów. He is a Polish politician.
Political career[edit]
In 1980, Andrzej Szlachta joined in the creation of the social movement "Solidarity". He was chairman of the "Solidarity" at the Rzeszów University of Technology. In 1981, as an activist of "Solidarity" he was haunted by the Security Service. The Institute of National Remembrance gave him the status of victim.
