Adri Duivesteijn
Adri Duivesteijn (born on August 27th, 1950) is a member of the Dutch Senate for the Labour Party (Pvda).
Political Career[edit]
Since February 5th, 2013 Adri Duivesteijn has been a member of the Dutch Senate for the PvdA. He was the alderman for Sustainable Spatial Development of Almere from April 20th, 2006 until March 21, 2013. Since May 17th, 1994 Duivesteijn has been a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the PvdA. He was the alderman for Urban Renewal and Regional Planning at The Hague from November 3th, 1980 until July 20th, 1989. From 1986 onwards he has also been deputy mayor. From January 24th, 1975 until November 1st, 1989 Duivesteijn was the Councillor of The Hague. From 1969 until 1971 Adri Duivesteijn was the Vice President of the district council "Schilderswijk Short-Bosch" and also the Vice President of the JAS action group.
Education[edit]
Adri Duivesteijn studied Andragogy at the University of Amsterdam for two years, but did not finish the course.
