Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen

Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen (born 4th of May 1983) has been the member of Parliament for the Social Democratic Party in the North Jutland greater constituency since September 15th 2011.

Political career[edit]

Halsboe-Jørgensen was the candidate for the Social Democratic Party in the Brønderslev nomination district for 2008. She acted as the spokeswoman on youth education, adult education and continuing training from 2013 and on issues regarding social dumping from 2011. She was a member of the Fiscal Affairs Committee, of the Children's and Education Committee, of the Foreign Affairs Committee and of the Scrutineers' Committee from 2011. She also served as the vice-chairwoman of the Danish delegation at the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE from 2011 and was also a deputy member of the council of the Danish Interparliamentary Group and of the Foreign Policy Committee from 2011. Additionally she has served as the vice-chairwoman of the Social Democratic parliamentary party group from 2011.

Education[edit]

Halsboe-Jørgensen studied MSc (political science)at the University of Copenhagen, from 2004 to 2009.
