Anna Sobecka
Anna Sobecka born in 27 March 1951 in Piotrków Trybunalski. She is a Polish politician. She is member of Polish Parliament since 1997. She is also vell known as a very religous person who are fighting with any kind of anty-catholic activity in public area, media and culture. She was also a speaker in Radio Maryja- the biggest catholic radiostation in Poland.
Political career[edit]
In 1997 she was elected to the Polish Parlament and she was there till 2001. After this she joined to Liga Polskich Rodzin(League of Polish Families- national conservative party, forcing catholic as a "Basement of Poland") and she was elected again. In 2004 she tried to go to European Parliament, but she didn't score enough votes. In 2005 and 2007 she was elected again to Polish Parliament. In 2011 due to terrible support for Liga Polski Rodzin(about 3-4%)she joined to Prawo i Sprawiedliwość and as a member of this party she was elected again. During his career she gained some fame in Poland for her quote Sex is bad as it doesn't develop [the mankind]. Sobacka is also a vigorous opponent of legalizing same-sex unions. She claims homosexuality is an illness and homosexuals are sick people, and that homosexual orientation is caused by "lack of love during childhood". She also tried to make a definition of pornography to prohibited it. Her other ideas were: close all shops in Sunday to allow people spend more time with their family, religion as an obligatory subject at school, single, who dont have any children should pay extra taxes, mothers who are devoted to career also should pay extra taxes, but family with many children(at least 3)shouldn't pay anything.
