Antonio Galván Porras
Antonio Galván Porras is a Spanish senator representing the Spanish province of Badajoz in Extremadura in the 10th Congress of Deputies. Galván Porras is a member of the Spanish Popular Party, Partido Popular (PP).
Political Career[edit]
Galván Porras has held different positions within the Popular Party in Extremadura. As well as being the senator for Badajoz, he has also been the regional president of Badajoz, the President of the Popular Party in Calzadilla de los Barros and furthermore, mayor of Calzadilla de Barros. In the Spanish Senate, Antonio Galván Porras is the First Vice-President of the Committee on Petitions and a member of the Committe on Education and Sport, the Commission of Joint Committees of Interior, Education and Sport, and Industry, Energy and Tourism. Finally, he is also a member of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Parliamentary Control of the Corporation of the Spanish Radio-Television, Radio Televisión Española (RTVE), and its subsidiaries.
