Bart Van Malderen
Bart Van Malderen (born in Dendermonde, on November 17th, 1973) is a Belgian politician for the Socialist party.
Political career[edit]
Following his studies he went to work as an adviser for the Workers' Union of the Socialist Party until 2006. In 2000 he took part in the local elections and was elected to the city council of Dendermonde. In 2006 he was re-elected and appointed as alderman in this city. He has been the Flemish MP for the constituency of East Flanders since September 2006.
Education[edit]
Van Malderen studied at the University of Ghent, where he graduated in 1997 in archaeology.
