António Carlos Sousa Gomes da Silva Peixoto was born on February 13th, 1968. He currently practices as a lawyer.

Carlos Peixoto is in his second mandate as a deputy at the National Parliament for the PSD political party, since starting his activity in the 11th legislature (2009-10-15). He is currently a member of the Constitutional Affairs, Rights, Freedoms and Guarantees parliamentary committee.
