Clyde Puli
Clyde Puli, born in 1969, is a member of the Maltese Parliament.
Political Career[edit]
Clyde Puli is a Member of Parliament representing the PN on the 6th Electoral District (Luqa, Qormi, Siggiewi). He is the Shadow Minister for the Family & Social Solidarity. He is a member of the Malta Institute of Management, the UK Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the European Sociological Association. Clyde Puli was first elected to public office in 1994 as Local Councillor for Qormi (Citta Pinto). He served as Mayor between 1998–2001 and was re-elected to the Council in 2001 and he served until 2003 when he resigned to take up his Parliamentary seat. In 1997 he was elected President of the Nationalist Party's College of Councillors through which he was appointed ex officio member of the Party's Administrative Council, Executive Committee and General Council. In 2003 he was elected to Parliament for the first time. He was appointed member of the Standing Committee on Foreign and European Affairs and Chairman of the Standing Committee on Social Affairs in 2004. Between 2005 and 2008 he sat on the National Council for Children and the Board of Trustees of the Richmond Foundation of Malta. In 2008 he returned to Parliament and was appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Youth and Sport.

Clyde Puli studied sociology and communications at the University of Malta. He also obtained a Masters degree in political sociology.
