Colomba Mongiello
Colomba Mongiello (February 13, 1961) is an Italian teacher and politician.

She obtained a degree in Languages and Foreign Literature.
Political career[edit]
She was first elected to the Italian Senate in 2006 for Ulivo electoral coalition, becoming a member of the Infantry Commission, the Charging Proceeds Parliamentary Commission, the Territory, Environment and Environmental Goods Commission and the Job and Social Welfare Commission.
Colomba Mongiello retained the same seat in 2008, this time for Partito Democratico, working in the Permanent Agricultural and Agri-Food Production Commission and the Special Human Rights Safeguard and Promotion Commission.
She was elected for the first time in the Italian Chamber of Deputies in 2013 for Partito Democratico, becoming part of the Agriculture Commission, the Abusive Trade, Falsification Phenomena and Trade Piracy Commission.
