Cosmina Stratan
Cosmina Stratan is a Romanian actress widely recognized after her role in “Beyond the Hills” which got appraisal at the Cannes Festival in 2012.
Biography[edit]
After studying journalism and advertising in Bucharest she worked as a journalist for Antena 3. Her film career started when she starred in a couple of short films and plays. Her big debut was “Beyond the hills” directed by Cristian Mungiu. After, she graduated from The Caragiale Academy of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography.
Cosmina Stratan was named Best Actress at the Cannes festival in 2012. In 2014 she was named one of the ten European upcoming Shooting Stars during The Berlin Film Festival. She is presently acting in the HBO series “Stay With Me”.
