Dimitrios Anagnostakis
Dimitris Anagnostakis was born in Chalkida, Euboea in 1961. He is a Greek politician and teacher.
Political Career[edit]
He has served as the Mayor of Chalkida, the Chairman of the Local Union Of Municipalities and Communities of Euboea and as a member of the Regional Council of Central Greece. He is currently a member of the General Council of ADEDY (Supreme Administration of Public Employees), Vice-Chairman of the Institute of the General Confederation of Greek Workers - Supreme Administration of Public Employees of Central Greece, Vice-Chairman of the Institute of Educational Research and Studies of the Teachers Federation of Greece and he is the Secretary General of the Prefectural Committee for Adult Education of Euboea. He remains steadfast and committed to his principles and values of the welfare state, social solidarity and social justice and has joined the Democratic Left.

He graduated from The University of Athens and holds a degree in Education.
