Fabrizio Cicchitto
Fabrizio Cicchitto was born on October 26th 1940 in Rome. He is an Italian politician and activist.
Political career[edit]
Fabrizio Cicchitto entered politics during the earlier 1960s supporting the Partito Socialista Italiano. He then became secretary of the Party's youth organization Federazione Giovanile Socialista Italiana (Italian Young Socialist Federation).
In the early 1980s, he confessed to being a member of the masonic lodge Propaganda Due and he was excluded from the Partito Socialista. He was readmitted towards the end of the 1980s and he became a strong supporter of Bettino Craxi. Fabrizio Cicchitto joined the Party Forza Italia, led by Silvio Berlusconi.
He is currently the vice-president of Forza Italia's group in the Chamber, and national deputy-coordinator of the party. Additionally, he has contributed in the adoption of the European Monetary System. He has been a supporter of the Maastricht Treaty and he has taken part in debates over privatization in Italy.
Since 1998, he contributes to Il Giornale and he is currently a member of the editorial staff for Avanti!. After the split of Popolo della Libertà, he joined the Party il Nuovo Centro Destra, led by Angelino Alfano. In the general elections of 2013 he was elected to the Italian Chambres of Deputies for the district of Lazio. Addtionally, from May 2013, he has been the President of the Foreign Affairs Commission.

He has a degree in law and he is lawyer.
