Gunilla Carlsson

Gunilla Carlsson was born on the 20th April 1966 in Hisnings Backa, Sweden. She is a member of the Swedish parliament representing the Social Democrats.

Political Career[edit]

Gunilla Carlsson started her political career within the Workers Union during the 80s. That was where her political intrest started. She was elected member of parliament in 2002 representing the municipality of Gothenburg. In 2002 she became a deputy in the Committee of Culture, she was the chairman of the committee in 2012-2014 and after 2014 she is now the vice chairman. Between 2002-2006 she was a deputy in the Committee of Defence. 2006-2010 she was a deputy in the Committe of Taxes. Gunilla Carlsson was also between 2007-2010 a deputy in the Committee of Social Affairs. In the years 2010-2012 she was a deputy in the Committee of Traffic, Committe of Education and in the Nordic Council representing Sweden. Since 2012 she has been a member in the Committee of War.
