Jürgen Lennartz

Jürgen Lennartz, born January 18, 1957 in Düren, is a German politician (CDU).

Political Career

On 9 May 2012, he was appointed as Secretary of State for the Saarland Prime Minister Annegret Kramp. Since 22 May 2012, he has been a member of the Federal Council.

Education

He studied Law at the University of Cologne. He then worked as a lawyer, and then from 1987 to 1999, worked for the Federal Environment Ministry.
