Jacqueline Alquier
Jacqueline Alquier was born on 1947 in Vabre, in the department of Tarn. She is a member of the Senate of France as a representative of the Senate Socialist Groupe ("Groupe Socialiste du Sénat"), elected on 26th of September 2004 for the constituency of Tarn.
Political Career[edit]
Jacqueline Alquier was active in the politics in her town and her region, as regional councillor, municipal councillor and mayor. Ms. Alquier became member of the French Parliament in 1985 and was reelected for the period 1988-1993. She is a member of the Commission on Social Affairs, member of the Mission of Evaluation and Control of Social Security; member of the Study Boards on Alimentary Agricultural Economy, Fungiculture, Energy, Forest, Mountains Economic Development, member of the Monitoring Committee of the French Agency of Adoption, and member of the National Council of Mountains.
