Jan Spooren
Jan Spooren was born on January 12th 1969 in Herk-De-Stad (Belgium). He is a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the Flemish nationalist party (N-VA). He is also mayor of Tervuren.
Political Career[edit]
Jan Spooren started his political career in 1994 as councillor in Herk-De-Stad, and a year later he became alderman for culture, youth, education, and information. After the local elections in 2012, he got elected as councillor in Tervuren and he became mayor of the city. Since 2014, he has held a seat in the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the Flemish nationalist party (N-VA).

He graduated in law at the KU Leuven.
