MarÃa Piedra Escrita Jiménez DÃaz
María Piedra Escrita Jiménez Díaz, born 12 January 1951 in Campanario, Badajoz, is a member of the Spanish Chamber of Deputies representing the Spanish province of Badajoz, Extremadura. Jiménez Díaz is a member of the People’s Party, Partido Popular (PP) and she is a member of the People’s Party Parliamentary Group, Grupo Popular (GP) within the Chamber of Deputies.
Political Career[edit]
María Piedra Escrita Jiménez Díaz has been an MP for the People’s Party from Lugo, for one term, since 2011. Previously, she was the mayor of Campanario from 2007 to 2011. Nowadays in the Chamber of Deputies she is a member of the Committee on Finance and Public Administration, the Joint Commission for the Study of Drug Problem and the Commission for the Study of Climate Change.
